Bun Ingredients:
- 9 Deciliter oat flour
- 2 Deciliter sugar
- 2 Tablespoons of cardamom
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
- 2 Teaspoons of vanilla sugar or 1 vanilla bean
- 100 Grams of almond butter or firm coconut oil
- 4 Deciliter oat milk (room temp) or any preferred plant based milk
- 1 Teaspoon of yeast
Method:
- Pre heat your oven to 225 degrees celcius
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a medium bowl
- Add the yeast in the room temperature oat milk
- Gradually add inn the milk and yeast in the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir it until the dough will let go of the bowl
- let the dough rest with a kitchen towel on top in a warmer place in the kitchen for about 40-45 minutes until the dough is raised
- When the dough is ready you take it out of the bowl and roll it out with a rolling pin until it is square
- Add some almond butter, sugar and cinnamon on the square dough and start on one side and then you roll it up to the other side
- then you cut it in smaller pieces and lay them on a pan with baking paper
- Put them in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, keep an eye on them for the last two minutes
